There is an interesting "overlap" between "content mills" or "content farms" writers and "Freelancers" who actively seek "clients" to write for. Some internet sites offer both types of work. Generally the freelance writers do better financially than the "millers", but they feel that they are being undercut by them. Some freelancers are rather snobbish about these "millers", and some nasty stuff has been written by both groups about their perceived "rivals". You have to be careful what you say about all this!
